About Beauty Cast Network

In 2013, Penny Burns, founder of Beauty Cast Network (BCN) and a progressive-minded, long-time school owner, recognized the need to better connect graduating students with the right potential employers. Over the course of the last ten+ years,  Beauty Cast Network has been a pioneer in using technology to empower new professionals to start their career journeys off on the proverbial right foot.

The Beauty Cast Network team’s passion is rooted in supporting the dreams and aspirations of students like you to build sustainable, successful careers and better lives – as we partner in the search for the right first position as a licensed professional.

In support of our mission to help create sustainable careers, Beauty Cast Network has conducted regional career expos, digital career events, and student competitions reaching well over 60,000 students, new graduates, educators, and school owners. In 2023 alone, BCN will conduct over 50 events, online and in-person, to bring new and emerging talent together with leading employers for new career opportunities.

Importantly, Beauty Cast Network has always evolved with the times – as it relates to both technology and the ever-changing needs of new pros, schools, and employers alike.

In 2023, in reaction to input from graduates, schools, and employers alike, we transitioned Beauty Cast Network from a portfolio-based portal to a more streamlined, easy-to-use (and benefit from) Career Connections-focused platform.
